The closest major international airport to the Bathurst Region is Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD). From there, you can take a domestic flight to Bathurst Airport (BHS), which is located just 7 kilometers south of Bathurst city center.

  • From Canberra: The distance between Canberra and Bathurst is around 190 kilometers. Take the Barton Highway (A25) towards Yass, then merge onto the Hume Highway (M31) towards Goulburn. From there, take the Illawarra Highway (B73) towards Crookwell and continue on the Bathurst Road until you reach Bathurst.
  • From Dubbo: The distance between Dubbo and Bathurst is approximately 150 kilometers. Take the Mitchell Highway (B55) east, which will lead you directly to Bathurst.

By Public Transportation:
